Our Story

Born From Lived Experience.

Still Standing is a Recovery Community Organization and the heart of HEARD, Helping Everyone Achieve Recovery, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving Southwest Arkansas. We exist for one reason: to help individuals overcome addiction, mental health challenges, and homelessness, and to stand beside them as they rebuild.

Recovery does not end when treatment does. That is where we come in. Our peers help people find jobs and housing, enroll in insurance, replace IDs and vital documents, and reconnect with the families they love. Every service is delivered by people who understand the journey because they have walked it themselves.

We are powered by donations, community outreach, and a board that believes deeply in what recovery makes possible.
